Circus Tents

In 1890, a traveling circus visited Springfield, Illinois. They hired Armbruster Tentmaker to make its first “Big Top”. We take great pride in that legacy, and, several of our circus tents are based on original designs from the 1890s.

With a variety of colors and fabric weights to choose from, Armbruster Tentmaker custom builds each tent to your specifications. Build times typically range from 30-60 days depending on your tent’s size and style.

Classic Circus Tent

With its beautiful peaks and variety of color options, our Classic Circus Tent is based on our original 1890s circus tent design. The oblong shape and rounded ends harken back to circus tents of the past.

Custom valences are available at an additional cost.

Circus PoleTent

The Circus PoleTent is based off our original, 1875 PoleTent design. The PoleTent has squared ends vs. the rounded, oblong style of the Classic Circus Tent.

Tent tops are offered in a variety of colors.

Option of white side walls.

Please note that rounded ends and custom valences are not available in this model.

For a more modern look for your performance space, our Round Circus Tent offers a sleek look. The center pole design provides a spacious interior.

Our round, peaked circus tent showcases a sleek and modern look for your event or performance. The twin pole design provides a large performance space between the center poles. Performance acts can also occur above, between the poles.
