The Challenge: Build and Install a seasonal fabric structure connected to an Air Dome, rated for snow loads and Chicago Winds, over a soccer field where no anchors in the ground can be used.

The Solution: Armbruster Manufacturing Company provided a custom fabricated 50ft x 80ft steel fabric building.  Working closely with the City of Chicago, Armbruster solved the problem with a steel frame welded to steel plates, anchored with 2500 lb blocks to meet the International Building Code. Installed on portable flooring over a soccer field.  Structure will house the office, bathrooms, and entrance area to the Air Dome used by the Chicago Fire Soccer team for winter practice.  In the Spring it will be removed and re-installed each winter.
