2011 marks 150 years since the beginning of the Civil War.  As part of this 150th Anniversary, Armbruster was contracted with building multiple Civil War era tents.

Armbruster was established in 1875, 14 years after the Civicl War began, and many of our original canvas tent designs used many of the patterns and techniques from Civil War era tents.

Armbruster can now recreate any custom period tent to give you the authentic look for your display, road show, movie set, museum or event. We have made authentic period tents dating from the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. We can custom make any historical tent you need with just about any type and color of canvas materials.
